Episcopal Community Service (ECS) is once again holding their “Fill the Bus” campaign to provide backpacks and school supplies for children in need. This year’s campaign is happening early as children will earn backpacks by their participation in ECS’ summer camp. So, beginning this Sunday, we will accept monetary donations that will be converted into backpacks filled with necessary school supplies. Each backpack costs between $40 - $50 to complete. Place your donation in the jar provided at the front of church. We will be doing this collection for the next two Sundays through July 14th. If donating by check, please make it payable to Christ Church, Ithan and in the memo line indicate “ECS backpack drive.” Thank you for your support of this outreach effort.
